Grund war die innovative Kombination von Baumaterialien des Architekten Ernst Otto O\u00dfwald. Au\u00dferdem beherbergte der Tagblattturm den seinerzeit h\u00f6chsten Paternoster der Welt, der 15 Stockwerke miteinander verband. Die moderne Bauweise des Tagblatt-Turms gefiel vielen Stuttgarterinnen und Stuttgartern damals nicht. <a><\/a>Dennoch symbolisiert er bis heute ein wichtiges St\u00fcck Stadtbaugeschichte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Den Zweiten Weltkrieg hat der Tagblatt-Turm relativ unbeschadet \u00fcberstanden. Lediglich im Schacht des Schnellaufzuges landete ein Blindg\u00e4nger. So kann der Turm schon bald seinen 100.
