Ihren Namen verdankt sie einem etwa 1,7 Kilometer langen M\u00fchlgraben im Mittelalter, dessen damaliger Verlauf heute noch an den G\u00e4rten zu erahnen ist. Zu dieser Zeit entstand im Stadtteil Berg ein regelrechtes M\u00fchlenviertel.
